Context40:24 Then he led me toward the south. I saw 2 a gate on the south. He measured its jambs and its porches; they had the same dimensions as the others.
1 tn Heb “Waters made it grow; the deep made it grow tall. It (the deep) was flowing with its rivers around the place it (the tree) was planted, it (the deep) sent out its channels to all the trees of the field.”
2 tn The word הִנֵּה (hinneh, traditionally “behold”) indicates becoming aware of something and has been translated here as a verb.
