Ezekiel 3:7

3:7 But the house of Israel is unwilling to listen to you, 1  because they are not willing to listen to me, 2  for the whole house of Israel is hard-headed and hard-hearted. 3 

Ezekiel 18:29

18:29 Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The Lord’s conduct is unjust!’ Is my conduct unjust, O house of Israel? Is it not your conduct that is unjust?

Ezekiel 34:14

Context
34:14 In a good pasture I will feed them; the mountain heights of Israel will be their pasture. There they will lie down in a lush 4  pasture, and they will feed on rich grass on the mountains of Israel.

Ezekiel 39:7

39:7 “‘I will make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; I will not let my holy name be profaned anymore. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. 5 

Ezekiel 45:8

Context
45:8 of the land. This will be his property in Israel. My princes will no longer oppress my people, but the land will be allotted to the house of Israel according to their tribes.

3 tn Heb “hard of forehead and stiff of heart.”

5 sn The basic sense of the word “holy” is “set apart from that which is commonplace, special, unique.” The Lord’s holiness is first and foremost his transcendent sovereignty as the ruler of the world. He is “set apart” from the world over which he rules. At the same time his holiness encompasses his moral authority, which derives from his royal position. As king he has the right to dictate to his subjects how they are to live; indeed his very own character sets the standard for proper behavior. This expression is a common title for the Lord in the book of Isaiah.
