Ezekiel 26:7

Context

26:7 “For this is what the sovereign Lord says: Take note that 1  I am about to bring King Nebuchadrezzar 2  of Babylon, king of kings, against Tyre from the north, with horses, chariots, and horsemen, an army and hordes of people.

Ezekiel 38:4

Context
38:4 I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and bring you out with all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them fully armed, a great company with shields of different types, 3  all of them armed with swords.

1 tn The word הִנֵּה (hinneh, traditionally “behold”) draws attention to something.

2 tn Heb “Nebuchadrezzar” is a variant and more correct spelling of Nebuchadnezzar, as the Babylonian name Nabu-kudurri-usur has an an “r” rather than an “n.”

3 sn The Hebrew text mentions two different types of shields here.
