Ezekiel 23:9-10

Context
23:9 Therefore I handed her over to her lovers, the Assyrians¹ for whom she lusted. 23:10 They exposed her nakedness, seized her sons and daughters, and killed her with the sword. She became notorious² among women, and they executed judgments against her.

23:32 “This is what the sovereign Lord says: “You will drink your sister’s deep and wide cup;³ you will be scorned and derided, for it holds a great deal.

¹tn Heb “I gave her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the sons of Assyria.”

²tn Heb “name.”

³sn The image of a deep and wide cup suggests the degree of punishment; it will be extensive and leave the victim helpless.

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
