Ezekiel 22:18

Context
22:18 “Son of man, the house of Israel has become slag to me. All of them are like bronze, tin, iron, and lead in the furnace;¹ they are the worthless slag of silver.

Ezekiel 22:20

Context
22:20 As silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin are gathered in a furnace so that the fire can melt them, so I will gather you in my anger and in my rage. I will deposit you there² and melt you.

Ezekiel 40:3

Context
40:3 When he brought me there, I saw³ a man whose appearance was like bronze, with a linen cord and a measuring stick in his hand. He was standing in the gateway.

¹tn For similar imagery, see Isa 1:21-26; Jer 6:27-30.

²tn Heb “I will put.” No object is supplied in the Hebrew, prompting many to emend the text to “I will blow.” See BHS and verse 21.

³tn The word הִנֵּה (hinneh, traditionally “behold”) indicates becoming aware of something and has been translated here as a verb.

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
