Ezekiel 16:52

Context
16:52 So now, bear your disgrace, because you have given your sisters reason to justify their behavior. 1  Because the sins you have committed were more abominable than those of your sisters; they have become more righteous than you. So now, be ashamed and bear the disgrace of making your sisters appear righteous.

Ezekiel 18:20

Context
18:20 The person who sins is the one who will die. A son will not suffer 2  for his father’s iniquity, and a father will not suffer 3  for his son’s iniquity; the righteous person will be judged according to his righteousness, and the wicked person according to his wickedness. 4

Ezekiel 33:10

Context

33:10 “And you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what you have said: “Our rebellious acts and our sins have caught up with us, 5  and we are wasting away because of them. How then can we live?”’

Ezekiel 33:12

33:12 “And you, son of man, say to your people, 6  ‘The righteousness of the righteous will not deliver him if he rebels. 7  As for the wicked, his wickedness will not make him stumble if he turns from it. 8  The righteous will not be able to live by his righteousness 9  if he sins.’ 10
