16:36 This is what the sovereign Lord says: Because your lust 1  was poured out and your nakedness was uncovered in your prostitution with your lovers, and because of all your detestable idols, and because of the blood of your children you have given to them,

Ezekiel 20:47

20:47 and say to the scrub land of the Negev, ‘Hear the word of the Lord: This is what the sovereign Lord says: Look here, 2  I am about to start a fire in you, 3  and it will devour every green tree and every dry tree in you.
