Ezekiel 11:19
-
[Eze 11:19] Come, O Thou All Victorious Lord
Come, O Thou all-victorious Lord!
Thy power to us make known;
Strike with the hammer of Thy Word,
And break these hearts of stone.O that we all might now begin
Our foolishness to mourn;
And turn at once from every sin,
And to our Savior turn!Give us ourselves and Thee to know,
In this our gracious day;
Repentance unto life bestow,
And take our sins away.Conclude us first in unbelief,
And freely then release;
Fill every soul with sacred grief,
And then with sacred peace.Impoverish, Lord, and then relieve,
And then enrich the poor;
The knowledge of our sickness give,
The knowledge of our cure.That blessèd sense of guilt impart,
And then remove the load;
Trouble, and wash the troubled heart
In the atoning blood.Our desperate state through sin declare,
And speak our sins forgiv’n;
By perfect holiness prepare,
And take us up to Heav’n.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Eze 11:19] Jesus, Thou All Redeeming Lord
Jesus, Thou all redeeming Lord,
Thy blessing we implore;
Open the door to preach Thy Word,
The great, effectual door.Gather the outcasts in, and save
From sin and Satan’s power;
And let them now acceptance have,
And know their gracious hour.Lover of souls! Thou knowest to prize
What Thou hast bought so dear:
Come, then, and in Thy people’s eyes
With all Thy wounds appear.The hardness of their hearts remove,
Thou Who for all hast died;
Show them the tokens of Thy love,
Thy feet, Thy hands, Thy side.Ready Thou art the blood to apply,
And prove the record true;
And all Thy wounds to sinners cry,
“I suffered this for you!”Thy feet were nailed to yonder tree
To trample down their sin;
Thy hands they all stretched out may see,
To take the murderers in.Thy side an open fountain is,
Where all may freely go,
And drink the living streams of bliss,
And wash them white as snow.Play source: Cyberhymnal
Ezekiel 18:31

[Eze 18:31] Get Right With God
Get right with God, why will you die?
Oh, weary one, for mercy cry;
No longer walk the downward road;
Oh, come away, get right with God.Refrain
Get right with God; get right with God;
Oh, come away, get right with God;
No longer walk the downward road;
Oh, come away, get right with God.Get right with God—for you Christ died,
On Calvary’s cross was crucified;
His side was pierced, blood from it flowed;
Oh, come away, get right with God.Refrain
Get right with God, He loves you so;
No mother’s love could stoop so low;
On Christ He laid sin’s heavy load,
Oh, come away, get right with God.Refrain
Get right with God, your loved ones said
When lying on their dying bed;
But ah! you’ve wandered far abroad,
Oh, come away, get right with God.Refrain
Get right with God, confess your sin,
And let the dear Redeemer in;
He hath for you the winepress trod,
Oh, come away, get right with God.Refrain

[Eze 18:31] O Turn Ye, For Why Will Ye Die
O turn ye, O turn ye, for why will ye die,
When God, in great mercy, is coming so nigh?
Now Jesus invites you, the Spirit says Come!
And angels are waiting to welcome you home.How vain the delusion, that while you delay
Your hearts may grow better, your chains melt away!
Come guilty, come wretched, come just as you are;
All helpless and dying, to Jesus repair.The contrite in heart he will freely receive,
O why will you not the glad message believe?
If sin be your burden, why will you not come?
’Tis you He makes welcome, He bids you come home.source: Cyberhymnal -
[Eze 18:31] Sinners, Turn: Why Will You Die?
Sinners, turn: why will you die?
God, your Maker, asks you why.
God, who did your being give,
Gave Himself, that you might live;
He the fatal cause demands,
Asks the work of His own hands.
Why, you thankless creatures, why,
Will you cross His love, and die?Sinners, turn: why will you die?
God, your Savior, asks you why.
God, who did your souls retrieve,
Died Himself, that you might live.
Will you let Him die in vain?
Crucify your Lord again?
Why, you ransomed sinners, why,
Will you slight His grace and die?Sinners, turn: why will you die?
God, the Spirit, asks you why;
He, who all your lives hath strove,
Wooed you to embrace His love.
Will you not His grace receive?
Will you still refuse to live?
Why, you long sought sinners, why,
Will you grieve your God, and die?Let the beasts their breath resign,
Strangers to the life divine;
Who their God can never know,
Let their spirit downward go.
You for higher ends were born,
You may all to God return,
Dwell with Him above the sky;
Why will you forever die?You, on whom He favors showers,
You, possessed of nobler powers,
You, of reason’s powers possessed,
You, with will and memory blessed,
You, with finer sense endued,
Creatures capable of God;
Noblest of His creatures, why,
Why will you forever die?You, whom He ordained to be
Transcripts of the Trinity,
You, whom He in life doth hold,
You for whom Himself was sold,
You, on whom He still doth wait,
Whom He would again create;
Made by Him, and purchased, why,
Why will you forever die?You, who own His record true,
You, His chosen people, you,
You, who call the Savior Lord,
You, who read His written Word,
You, who see the Gospel light,
Claim a crown in Jesus’ right;
Why will you, ye Christians, why,
Will the house of Israel die?Turn, He cries, ye sinners turn;
By His life your God hath sworn;
He would have you turn and live,
He would all the world receive;
He hath brought to all the race
Full salvation by His grace;
He hath not one soul passed by;
Why will you resolve to die?Can ye doubt, if God is love,
If to all His mercies move?
Will ye not His Word receive?
Will ye not His oath believe?
See, the suffering God appears!
Jesus weeps! Believe His tears!
Mingled with His blood they cry,
Why will you resolve to die?Dead, already dead within,
Spiritually dead in sin,
Dead to God while here you breathe,
Pant ye after second death?
Will you still in sin remain,
Greedy of eternal pain?
O you dying sinners, why,
Why will you forever die?What could your Redeemer do
More than He hath done for you?
To procure your peace with God,
Could He more than shed His blood?
After all His waste of love,
All His drawings from above,
Why will you your Lord deny?
Why will you resolve to die?Turn, He cries, ye sinners, turn;
By His life your God hath sworn,
He would have you turn and live,
He would all the world receive.
If your death were His delight,
Would he you to life invite?
Would he ask, obtest, and cry,
Why will you resolve to die?Sinners, turn, while God is near:
Dare not think Him insincere:
Now, even now, your Savior stands,
All day long He spreads His hands,
Cries, you will not happy be!
No, you will not come to Me!
Me, who life to none deny:
Why will you resolve to die?Can you doubt if God is love?
If to all His vowels move?
Will you not His Word receive?
Will you not His oath believe?
See! the suffering God appears!
Jesus weeps! Believe His tears!
Mingled with His blood, they cry,
Why will you resolve to die?Play source: Cyberhymnal

[Eze 36:26] Come, Holy Ghost, Our Souls Inspire
Come, Holy Ghost, our souls inspire,
And lighten with celestial fire;
Thou the anointing Spirit art,
Who dost Thy sev’nfold gifts impart.Refrain
Praise to Thy eternal merit,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.Thy blessèd unction from above
Is comfort, life, and fire of love;
Enable with perpetual light
The dullness of our blinded sight.Refrain
Anoint and cheer our soilèd face
With the abundance of Thy grace;
Keep far our foes, give peace at home;
Where Thou art Guide, no ill can come.Refrain
Teach us to know the Father, Son,
And Thee, of both, to be but One;
That through the ages all along
This, this may be our endless song.Refrain

[Eze 36:26] Come, Holy Spirit, Calm My Mind
Come, Holy Spirit, calm my mind,
And fit me to approach my God;
Remove each vain, each worldly thought,
And lead me to Thy blest abode.Hast Thou imparted to my soul
A living spark of heavenly fire?
O kindle now the sacred flame;
Teach it to burn with pure desire.Impress upon my wandering mind
The love that Christ for sinners bore;
And give a new, a contrite heart,
A heart the Savior to adore.A brighter faith and hope impart,
And let me now the Savior see;
O soothe and cheer my burdened heart,
And bid my spirit rest in Thee.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Eze 36:26] Hear Us, O Savior!
Hear us, O Savior, when we pray,
Humbly our need confessing;
Grant us the promised show’rs today—
Send them upon us, O Lord!Refrain
Send show’rs of blessing;
Send show’rs refreshing;
Send showers of blessing;
Send them, Lord, we pray!Knowing Thy love, on Thee we call,
Boldly Thy throne addressing;
Pleading that show’rs of grace may fall—
Send them upon us, O Lord!Refrain
Trusting Thy Word that cannot fail,
Master we claim Thy promise;
Oh that our faith may now prevail—
Send us the showers, O Lord!Refrain

[Eze 36:26] Holy, And True, And Righteous Lord
Holy, and true, and righteous Lord,
I wait to prove Thy perfect will,
Be mindful of Thy gracious Word,
And stamp me with Thy Spirit’s seal.Open my faith’s interior eye,
Display Thy glory from above;
And all I am shall sink and die,
Lost in astonishment and love.Confound, o’erpower me by Thy grace,
I would be by myself abhorred;
All might, all majesty, all praise,
All glory, be to Christ my Lord.Now let me gain perfection’s height,
Now let me into nothing fall;
Be less than nothing in Thy sight,
And feel that Christ is all in all!Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Eze 36:26] Lord Proclaims His Grace Abroad, The
The Lord proclaims His grace abroad!
“Behold, I change your hearts of stone;
Each shall renounce his idol god,
And serve, henceforth, the Lord alone.“My grace, a flowing stream, proceeds
To wash your filthiness away;
Ye shall abhor your former deeds,
And learn My statutes to obey.“My truth the great design ensures,
I give Myself away to you;
You shall be Mine, I will be yours,
Your God unalterably true.“Yet not unsought or unimplored,
The plenteous grace I shall confer;
No—your whole hearts shall seek the Lord,
I’ll put a praying spirit there.“From the first breath of life divine
Down to the last expiring hour,
The gracious work shall all be Mine,
Begun and ended in My pow’r.”Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Eze 36:26] Now Sweeping Down The Years Untold
Now sweeping down the years untold,
The day of truth is breaking;
And sweet and fair the leaves unfold,
Of love’s immortal waking.For flower and fruitage now are seen,
Where blight and mildew rested:
The Christ today to us has been
By word and deed attested.His living presence we have felt,
The Word made flesh among us:
And hearts of stone before Him melt,
His peace is brooding o’er us.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Eze 36:26] O For A Glance Of Heavenly Day
O for a glance of heavenly day,
To take this stubborn heart away,
And thaw, with beams of love divine,
This heart, this frozen heart of mine.The rocks can rend; the earth can quake;
The seas can roar; the mountains shake:
Of feeling, all things show some sign,
But this unfeeling heart of mine.To hear the sorrows Thou hast felt,
O Lord, an adamant would melt:
But I can read each moving line,
And nothing moves this heart of mine.Thy judgments, too, which devils fear—
Amazing thought! unmoved I hear;
Goodness and wrath in vain combine
To stir this stupid heart of mine.But something yet can do the deed;
And that dear something much I need:
Thy Spirit can from dross refine,
And move and melt this heart of mine.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Eze 36:26] Pour Thy Blessings, Lord, Like Showers
Pour Thy blessings, Lord, like showers,
On these barren lives of ours;
Warm and quicken them with grace
Till they bloom and bear apace
Fruit of prayer and fruit of praise,
Holy thoughts and kindly ways,
Loving sacrifices shown
Wheresoever need is known.Chiefest, Lord, today may we
In the sick and suffering see,
Those whom Thou would’st have us bless
With fraternal tenderness,
With our treasure freely poured,
With compassion’s richer hoard,
With these ministries most dear
To Thy stricken children here.Heavy is the cross they bear,
But our love that cross can share;
Dark Thy providence must seem,
But our cheer can cast a gleam
On their lot; and in our turn
Holiest lessons we may learn,
Where Thine own revealing light
Streams through pain’s mysterious night.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Eze 36:27] Spirit Of God, That Moved Of Old
Spirit of God, that moved of old
Upon the waters’ darkened face,
Come, when our faithless hearts are cold,
And stir them with an inward grace.Thou that art power and peace combined,
All highest strength, all purest love,
The rushing of the mighty wind,
The brooding of the gentle dove.Come, give us still Thy powerful aid,
And urge us on, and make us Thine;
Nor leave the hearts that once were made
Fit temples for Thy grace divine.Nor let us quench Thy sev’nfold light;
But still with softest breathings stir
Our wayward souls, and lead us right,
O Holy Ghost, the Comforter.Play source: Cyberhymnal
