Exhortation to Worship the Lord Exclusively

6:10 Then when the Lord your God brings you to the land he promised your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give you – a land with large, fine cities you did not build,

Context
9:21 As for your sinful thing¹ that you had made, the calf, I took it, melted it down,² ground it up until it was as fine as dust, and tossed the dust into the stream that flows down the mountain.

¹tn Heb “your sin.” This is a metonymy in which the effect (sin) stands for the cause (the metal calf).

²tn Heb “burned it with fire.”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
