5:26 Who is there from the entire human race² who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the middle of the fire as we have, and has lived?

¹tn The words “I say this” are supplied in the translation for stylistic reasons. In the Hebrew text v. 16 is subordinated to “Be careful” in v. 15, but this makes for an unduly long sentence in English.

range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
