Deuteronomy 30:4

30:4 Even if your exiles are in the most distant land, 1  from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back.

Deuteronomy 34:2

Context
34:2 and all of Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the distant 2  sea,

1 tn Heb “are at the farthest edge of the heavens.” The Hebrew term שָׁמַיִם (shamayim) may be translated “heaven(s)” or “sky” depending on the context.

2 tn Or “western” (so NAB, NASB, NIV, NRSV); Heb “latter,” a reference to the Mediterranean Sea (cf. NCV, TEV, CEV, NLT).
