Deuteronomy 3:13

Context
3:13 The rest of Gilead and all of Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to half the tribe of Manasseh.¹ (All the region of Argob,² that is, all Bashan, is called the land of Rephaim.

Deuteronomy 17:20

Context
17:20 Then he will not exalt himself above his fellow citizens or turn from the commandments to the right or left, and he and his descendants will enjoy many years ruling over his kingdom³ in Israel.

¹sn Half the tribe of Manasseh. The tribe of Manasseh split into clans, with half opting to settle in Bashan and the other half in Canaan (cf. Num 32:39-42; Josh 17:1-13).

²sn Argob. See note on this term in v. 4.

³tc Heb “upon his kingship.” Smr supplies כִּסֵא (kise’, “throne”) so as to read “upon the throne of his kingship.” This overliteralizes what is a clearly understood figure of speech.

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
