Deuteronomy 22:24

Context
22:24 you must bring the two of them to the gate of that city and stone them to death, the young woman because she did not cry out though in the city and the man because he violated¹ his neighbor’s fiancée;² in this way you will purge³ evil from among you.

Deuteronomy 26:13

Context
26:13 Then you shall say before the Lord your God, “I have removed the sacred offering⁴ from my house and given it to the Levites, the resident foreigners, the orphans, and the widows just as you have commanded me.⁵ I have not violated or forgotten your commandments.

⁴tn Heb “the sacred thing.” The term הַקֹּדֶשׁ (haqqodesh) likely refers to an offering normally set apart for the Lord but, as a third-year tithe, given on this occasion to people in need. Sometimes this is translated as “the sacred portion” (cf. NASB, NIV, NRSV), but that could sound to a modern reader as if a part of the house were being removed and given away.

⁵tn Heb “according to all your commandment that you commanded me.” This has been simplified in the translation for stylistic reasons.

similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
