Deuteronomy 2:7

2:7 All along the way I, the Lord your God, 1  have blessed your every effort. 2  I have 3  been attentive to 4  your travels through this great wasteland. These forty years I have 5  been with you; you have lacked for nothing.’”

Deuteronomy 16:10

16:10 Then you are to celebrate the Festival of Weeks 6  before the Lord your God with the voluntary offering 7  that you will bring, in proportion to how he 8  has blessed you.

Deuteronomy 28:4

28:4 Your children 9  will be blessed, as well as the produce of your soil, the offspring of your livestock, the calves of your herds, and the lambs of your flocks.

1 tn The Hebrew text does not have the first person pronoun; it has been supplied for purposes of English style (the Lord is speaking here).

2 tn Heb “all the work of your hands.”

3 tn Heb “he has.” This has been converted to first person in the translation in keeping with English style.

4 tn Heb “known” (so ASV, NASB); NAB “been concerned about.”

5 tn Heb “the Lord your God has.” This has been replaced in the translation by the first person pronoun (“I”) in keeping with English style.

6 tn The Hebrew phrase חַג שָׁבֻעוֹת (khag shavuot) is otherwise known in the OT (Exod 23:16) as קָצִיר (qatsir, “harvest”) and in the NT as πεντηχοστή (penthcosth, “Pentecost”).

7 tn Heb “the sufficiency of the offering of your hand.”

8 tn Heb “the Lord your God.” See note on “he” in 16:1.

9 tn Heb “the fruit of your womb” (so NAB, NIV, NRSV).
