Daniel 4:6

Context
4:6 So I issued an order¹ for all the wise men of Babylon to be brought² before me so that they could make known to me the interpretation of the dream.

Daniel 6:16

Context
6:16 So the king gave the order,³ and Daniel was brought and thrown into a den⁴ of lions. The king consoled⁵ Daniel by saying, “Your God whom you continually serve will rescue you!”

Daniel 6:23

Context

6:23 Then the king was delighted and gave an order to haul Daniel up from the den. So Daniel was hauled up out of the den. He had no injury of any kind, because he had trusted in his God.

¹tn Aram “from me there was placed a decree.”

²tn The Aramaic infinitive here is active.

³tn Aram “said.” So also in vv. 24, 25.

⁴sn The den was perhaps a pit below ground level which could be safely observed from above.

⁵tn Aram “answered and said [to Daniel].”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
