Daniel 2:45

Context
2:45 You saw that a stone was cut from a mountain, but not by human hands; it smashed the iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold into pieces. The great God has made known to the king what will occur in the future. 1  The dream is certain, and its interpretation is reliable.”

Daniel 10:11

Context
10:11 He said to me, “Daniel, you are of great value. 2  Understand the words that I am about to 3  speak to you. So stand up, 4  for I have now been sent to you.” When he said this 5  to me, I stood up shaking.

There will be a time of distress

unlike any other from the nation’s beginning 8

up to that time.

But at that time your own people,

all those whose names are 9  found written in the book,

will escape.
