Daniel 1:17

Context
1:17 Now as for these four young men, God endowed them with knowledge and skill in all sorts of literature and wisdom – and Daniel had insight into all kinds of visions and dreams.

Daniel 2:40

2:40 Then there will be a fourth kingdom, one strong like iron. Just like iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything, and as iron breaks in pieces 1  all of these metals, 2  so it will break in pieces and crush the others. 3 

Daniel 4:30-31

4:30 The king uttered these words: “Is this not the great Babylon that I have built for a royal residence 4  by my own mighty strength 5  and for my majestic honor?” 4:31 While these words were still on the king’s lips, 6  a voice came down from heaven: “It is hereby announced to you, 7  King Nebuchadnezzar, that your kingdom has been removed from you!

Daniel 7:6

7:6 “After these things, 8  as I was watching, another beast 9  like a leopard appeared, with four bird-like wings on its back. 10  This beast had four heads, 11  and ruling authority was given to it.

Daniel 11:27

11:27 These two kings, their minds 12  filled with evil intentions, will trade 13  lies with one another at the same table. But it will not succeed, for there is still an end at the appointed time.

Daniel 11:33

11:33 These who are wise among the people will teach the masses. 14  However, they will fall 15  by the sword and by the flame, 16  and they will be imprisoned and plundered for some time. 17 

1 tc Theodotion and the Vulgate lack the phrase “and as iron breaks in pieces.”
