Acts 2:25

Context
2:25 For David says about him,

‘I saw the Lord always in front of me,¹

for he is at my right hand so that I will not be shaken.

Acts 27:35

Context
27:35 After he said this, Paul² took bread³ and gave thanks to God in front of them all,⁴ broke⁵ it, and began to eat.

¹tn Or “always before me.”

²tn Grk “he”; the referent (Paul) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

³tn Grk “taking bread, gave thanks.” The participle λαβών (labwn) has been translated as a finite verb due to requirements of contemporary English style.

⁴tn Or “before them all,” but here this could be misunderstood to indicate a temporal sequence.

⁵tn Grk “and breaking it, he began.” The participle κλάσας (klasas) has been translated as a finite verb due to requirements of contemporary English style.

start	search for verses that contains words that start with the search words	"fis" will search for verses that contains words start with "fis", the result will be "fish", "fishing", "fisherman", etc
similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
