Acts 10:20

Context
10:20 But get up, 1  go down, and accompany them without hesitation, 2  because I have sent them.”

Acts 11:12

Context
11:12 The Spirit told me to accompany them without hesitation. These six brothers 3  also went with me, and we entered the man’s house.

1 tn Grk “But getting up, go down.” The participle ἀναστάς (anastas) has been translated as a finite verb due to requirements of contemporary English style.

2 tn The term means “without doubting” or “without deliberation.” It is a term of conscience and discernment. In effect, Peter is to listen to them rather than hesitate (BDAG 231 s.v. διακρίνω 6).

3 sn Six witnesses is three times more than what would normally be required. They could confirm the events were not misrepresented by Peter.
