Thanksgiving and Charge to Timothy

1:3 I am thankful to God, whom I have served with a clear conscience as my ancestors did, 1  when I remember you in my prayers as I do constantly night and day. 2 

2 Timothy 1:8

1:8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord 3  or of me, a prisoner for his sake, but by 4  God’s power accept your share of suffering 5  for the gospel.

2 Timothy 2:22

Context
2:22 But keep away from youthful passions, and pursue righteousness, faithfulness, love, and peace, in company with others 6  who call on the Lord from a pure heart. 7 

2 Timothy 3:6

3:6 For some of these insinuate themselves 8  into households and captivate weak women 9  who are overwhelmed with sins and led along by various passions.
