Thanksgiving and Charge to Timothy

1:3 I am thankful to God, whom I have served with a clear conscience as my ancestors did, 1  when I remember you in my prayers as I do constantly night and day. 2 

2 Timothy 1:6

Context

1:6 Because of this I remind you to rekindle God’s gift that you possess 3  through the laying on of my hands.

2 Timothy 2:21

Context
2:21 So if someone cleanses himself of such behavior, 4  he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart, useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

2 Timothy 4:3

Context
4:3 For there will be a time when people 5  will not tolerate sound teaching. Instead, following their own desires, 6  they will accumulate teachers for themselves, because they have an insatiable curiosity to hear new things. 7
