9:13 Mephibosheth was living in Jerusalem, 1  for he was a regular guest at the king’s table. But both his feet were crippled.

2 Samuel 4:4

Context

4:4 Now Saul’s son Jonathan had a son who was crippled in both feet. He was five years old when the news about Saul and Jonathan arrived from Jezreel. His nurse picked him up and fled, but in her haste to get away, he fell and was injured. 2  Mephibosheth was his name.

2 Samuel 9:3

Context
9:3 The king asked, “Is there not someone left from Saul’s family, 3  that I may extend God’s kindness to him?” Ziba said to the king, “One of Jonathan’s sons is left; both of his feet are crippled.”
