Context
6:23 Now Michal, Saul’s daughter, had no children to the day of her death.

2 Samuel 22:19

22:19 They confronted¹ me in my day of calamity,

but the Lord helped me.²

¹tn The same verb is translated “trapped” in v. 6. In this poetic narrative context the prefixed verbal form is best understood as a preterite indicating past tense, not imperfect. Cf. NAB, NCV, TEV, NLT “attacked.”

²tn Heb “became my support.”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
