20:21 That’s not the way things are. There is a man from the hill country of Ephraim named Sheba son of Bicri. He has rebelled 1  against King David. Give me just this one man, and I will leave the city.” The woman said to Joab, “This very minute 2  his head will be thrown over the wall to you!”

2 Samuel 21:9

Context
21:9 He turned them over to the Gibeonites, and they executed them on a hill before the Lord. The seven of them 3  died 4  together; they were put to death during harvest time – during the first days of the beginning 5  of the barley harvest.

3 tc The translation follows the Qere and several medieval Hebrew mss in reading שְׁבַעְתָּם (shÿvatam, “the seven of them”) rather than MT שִׁבַעְתִּים (shivatim, “seventy”).
