2:18 For by speaking high-sounding but empty words 1  they are able to entice, 2  with fleshly desires and with debauchery, 3  people 4  who have just escaped 5  from those who reside in error. 6

3:17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, 7  be on your guard that you do not get led astray by the error of these unprincipled men 8  and fall from your firm grasp on the truth. 9
