Context
5:24 When he arrived at the hill, he took them from the servants¹ and put them in the house. Then he sent the men on their way.²

2 Kings 9:30

Context

9:30 Jehu approached Jezreel. When Jezebel heard the news, she put on some eye liner,³ fixed up her hair, and leaned out the window.

¹tn Heb “from their hand.”

²tn Heb “and he sent the men away and they went.”

³tn Heb “she fixed her eyes with antimony.” Antimony (פּוּךְ, pukh) was used as a cosmetic. The narrator portrays her as a prostitute (see Jer 4:30), a role she has played in the spiritual realm (see the note at v. 22).

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
