2 Kings 4:40

Context
4:40 The stew was poured out¹ for the men to eat. When they ate some of the stew, they cried out, “Death is in the pot, O prophet!” They could not eat it.

2 Kings 6:23

6:23 So he threw a big banquet² for them and they ate and drank. Then he sent them back³ to their master. After that no Syrian raiding parties again invaded the land of Israel.

¹tn Heb “and they poured out [the stew].” The plural subject is probably indefinite.

²tn Or “held a great feast.”
