1 tn Heb “a small upper room of a wall”; according to HALOT 832 s.v. עֲלִיָּה, this refers to “a fully walled upper room.”
2 tn Heb “and let’s put there for him.”
3 tn Heb “let us look at each other [in the] face.” The expression refers here to meeting in battle. See v. 11.
4 tc The MT has “his hand,” but this is due to graphic confusion of vav (ו) and yod (י). The translation reads “my hand,” along with many medieval Hebrew
