sn Jehoash and Joash are alternate forms of the same name.

tn Heb “As for the rest of the events of Joash, and all which he did and his strength, [and] how he fought with Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written on the scroll of the events of the days of the kings of Israel?”

tn Heb “and your heart has lifted you up.”

 tn Heb “be glorified.”

tn Heb “Why get involved in calamity and fall, you and Judah with you?”

sn Jehoash and Joash are alternate forms of the same name.

tn Heb “As for the rest of the events of Jehoash, and all which he did and his strength, [and] how he fought with Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written on the scroll of the events of the days of the kings of Israel?”

tn Heb “because there had not been observed [one] like this Passover from the days of the judges who judged Israel and all the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah.”

tn Heb “Also Judah I will turn away from my face.”

tn Heb “him”; the referent (Jehoiachin) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

tn Heb “Surely [or, ‘for’] because of the anger of the Lord this happened in Jerusalem and Judah until he threw them out from upon his face.”
