The King of Assyria Populates Israel with Foreigners

17:24 The king of Assyria brought foreigners³ from Babylon, Cuthah, Avva, Hamath, and Sepharvaim and settled them in the cities of Samaria⁴ in place of the Israelites. They took possession of Samaria and lived in its cities.

2 Kings 18:21

Context
18:21 Now look, you must be trusting in Egypt, that splintered reed staff. If a man leans for support on it, it punctures his hand and wounds him. That is what Pharaoh king of Egypt does to all who trust in him.
