2:18 When they came back, Elisha¹ was staying in Jericho. He said to them, “Didn’t I tell you, ‘Don’t go’?”

2 Kings 25:5

Context
25:5 But the Babylonian army chased after the king. They caught up with him in the plains of Jericho,² and his entire army deserted him.

¹tn Heb “he”; the referent (Elisha) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
