2 Kings 18:32

Context
18:32 until I come and take you to a land just like your own – a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and honey. Then you will live and not die. Don’t listen to Hezekiah, for he is misleading you when he says, “The Lord will rescue us.”

2 Kings 21:3

Context
21:3 He rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had destroyed; he set up altars for Baal and made an Asherah pole just like King Ahab of Israel had done. He bowed down to all the stars in the sky 1  and worshiped 2  them.

2 Kings 25:17

Context
25:17 Each of the pillars was about twenty-seven feet 3  high. The bronze top of one pillar was about four and a half feet 4  high and had bronze latticework and pomegranate shaped ornaments all around it. The second pillar with its latticework was like it.

3 tn Heb “eighteen cubits.” The standard cubit in the OT is assumed by most authorities to be about eighteen inches (45 cm) long.

4 tn Heb “three cubits.” The parallel passage in Jer 52:22 has “five.”
