2 Kings 4:26

2 Kings 5:21

5:21 So Gehazi ran after Naaman. When Naaman saw someone running after him, he got down from his chariot to meet him and asked, “Is everything all right?” 4 

2 Kings 14:8

Context
14:8 Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel. He said, “Come, let’s meet face to face.” 5 

1 tn Heb “he”; the referent (the king) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

2 tn Heb “What was the manner…?”

3 tn Heb “she said.” The narrator streamlines the story at this point, omitting any reference to Gehazi running to meet her and asking her the questions.

4 tn Heb “Is there peace?”

5 tn Heb “let us look at each other [in the] face.” The expression refers here to meeting in battle. See v. 11.
