6:11 We have spoken freely to you, 1  Corinthians; our heart has been opened wide to you. 6:12 Our affection for you is not restricted, 2  but you are restricted in your affections for us.

2 Corinthians 11:19

11:19 For since you are so wise, you put up with 3  fools gladly.

2 Corinthians 12:17

12:17 I have not taken advantage of you through anyone I have sent to you, have I? 4 

1 tn Grk “our mouth has been open to you,” an idiom for openness in communication.

2 tn Grk “You are not restricted by us.”

3 tn Or “you tolerate.”

4 tn The Greek construction anticipates a negative answer, indicated by the ‘tag’ question “have I?” at the end of the clause. The question is rhetorical.
