Solomon’s Reign Ends

9:29 The rest of the events of Solomon’s reign, from start to finish, are recorded 1  in the Annals of Nathan the Prophet, the Prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and the Vision of Iddo the Seer pertaining to Jeroboam son of Nebat.

33:18 The rest of the events of Manasseh’s reign, including his prayer to his God and the words the prophets 2  spoke to him in the name of the Lord God of Israel, are recorded 3  in the Annals of the Kings of Israel.

2 Chronicles 34:3

34:3 In the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, he began to seek the God of his ancestor 4  David. In his twelfth year he began ridding 5  Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, Asherah poles, idols, and images.

Context

34:8 In the eighteenth year of his reign, he continued his policy of purifying the land and the temple. 6  He sent Shaphan son of Azaliah, Maaseiah the city official, and Joah son of Joahaz the secretary to repair the temple of the Lord his God.

Context
34:33 Josiah removed all the detestable idols from all the areas belonging to the Israelites and encouraged 7  all who were in Israel to worship the Lord their God. Throughout the rest of his reign 8  they did not turn aside from following the Lord God of their ancestors.
