2 Chronicles 6:36

Context

6:36 “The time will come when your people 1  will sin against you (for there is no one who is sinless!) and you will be angry at them and deliver them over to their enemies, who will take them as prisoners to their land, whether far away or close by.

2 Chronicles 7:3

Context
7:3 When all the Israelites saw the fire come down and the Lord’s splendor over the temple, they got on their knees with their faces downward toward the pavement. They worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, 2  “Certainly he is good; certainly his loyal love endures!”

2 Chronicles 31:1

Context

31:1 When all this was over, the Israelites 3  who were in the cities of Judah went out and smashed the sacred pillars, cut down the Asherah poles, and demolished 4  all the high places and altars throughout Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh. 5  Then all the Israelites returned to their own homes in their cities. 6 

2 Chronicles 31:6

31:6 The Israelites and people of Judah 7  who lived in the cities of Judah also contributed a tenth of their cattle and sheep, as well as a tenth of the holy items consecrated to the Lord their God. They brought them and placed them in many heaps. 8 

2 Chronicles 31:16

31:16 They made disbursements to all the males three years old and up who were listed in the genealogical records – to all who would enter the Lord’s temple to serve on a daily basis and fulfill their duties as assigned to their divisions. 9 

2 Chronicles 34:33

Context
34:33 Josiah removed all the detestable idols from all the areas belonging to the Israelites and encouraged 10  all who were in Israel to worship the Lord their God. Throughout the rest of his reign 11  they did not turn aside from following the Lord God of their ancestors.
