16:14 He was buried in the tomb he had carved out in the City of David. 3  They laid him to rest on a bier covered with spices and assorted mixtures of ointments. They made a huge bonfire to honor him. 4

18:2 and after several years 5  went down to visit 6  Ahab in Samaria. 7  Ahab slaughtered many sheep and cattle to honor Jehoshaphat and those who came with him. 8  He persuaded him to join in an attack 9  against Ramoth Gilead.

21:19 After about two years his intestines came out because of the disease, so that he died a very painful death. 10  His people did not make a bonfire to honor him, as they had done for his ancestors. 11

32:33 Hezekiah passed away 12  and was buried on the ascent of the tombs of the descendants of David. All the people of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem buried him with great honor. 13  His son Manasseh replaced him as king.
