25:14 When Amaziah returned from defeating the Edomites, he brought back the gods of the people 1  of Seir and made them his personal gods. 2  He bowed down before them and offered them sacrifices.

29:30 King Hezekiah and the officials told the Levites to praise the Lord, using the psalms 3  of David and Asaph the prophet. 4  So they joyfully offered praise and bowed down and worshiped.

2 Chronicles 33:3

33:3 He rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had destroyed; he set up altars for the Baals and made Asherah poles. He bowed down to all the stars in the sky 5  and worshiped 6  them.

In 1 Kgs 22:19 these heavenly bodies are pictured as members of the Lord’s royal court or assembly, but many other texts view them as the illegitimate objects of pagan and Israelite worship.
