2 Chronicles 24:14

Context
24:14 When they were finished, they brought the rest of the silver to the king and Jehoiada. They used it to make items for the Lord’s temple, including items used in the temple service and for burnt sacrifices, pans, and various other gold and silver items. Throughout Jehoiada’s lifetime, burnt sacrifices were offered regularly in the Lord’s temple.

2 Chronicles 30:5-6

Context
30:5 So they sent an edict 1  throughout Israel from Beer Sheba to Dan, summoning the people 2  to come and observe a Passover for the Lord God of Israel in Jerusalem, for they had not observed it on a nationwide scale as prescribed in the law. 3  30:6 Messengers 4  delivered the letters from the king and his officials throughout Israel and Judah.

This royal edict read: 5  “O Israelites, return to the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, so he may return 6  to you who have been spared from the kings of Assyria. 7 

2 Chronicles 31:1

Context

31:1 When all this was over, the Israelites 8  who were in the cities of Judah went out and smashed the sacred pillars, cut down the Asherah poles, and demolished 9  all the high places and altars throughout Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh. 10  Then all the Israelites returned to their own homes in their cities. 11 

2 Chronicles 34:33

Context
34:33 Josiah removed all the detestable idols from all the areas belonging to the Israelites and encouraged 12  all who were in Israel to worship the Lord their God. Throughout the rest of his reign 13  they did not turn aside from following the Lord God of their ancestors.
