23:16 Jehoiada then drew up a covenant stipulating that he, all the people, and the king should be loyal to the Lord.¹

2 Chronicles 29:10

Context
29:10 Now I intend² to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel, so that he may relent from his raging anger.³

¹tn Heb “and Jehoiada made a covenant between himself and [between] all the people and [between] the king, to become a people for the Lord.”

²tn Heb “now it is with my heart.”

³tn Heb “so that the rage of his anger might turn from us.” The jussive with vav (ו) conjunctive indicates purpose/result after the preceding statement of intention.

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
