2 Chronicles 23:5

Context
23:5 Another third of you will be stationed at the royal palace and still another third at the Foundation Gate. All the others³ will stand in the courtyards of the Lord’s temple.

¹tn Heb “fathers” (also in v. 33).

²tn Heb “are you not God in heaven?” The rhetorical question expects the answer “yes,” resulting in the positive statement “you are the God who lives in heaven” employed in the translation.
