2 Chronicles 20:31

Context
Jehoshaphat’s Reign Ends

20:31 Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah. He was thirty-five years old when he became king and he reigned for twenty-five years in Jerusalem. 1  His mother was Azubah, the daughter of Shilhi.

2 Chronicles 21:20--22:1

Context

21:20 Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. No one regretted his death; 2  he was buried in the City of David, 3  but not in the royal tombs.

Ahaziah’s Reign

22:1 The residents of Jerusalem 4  made his youngest son Ahaziah king in his place, for the raiding party that invaded the city with the Arabs had killed all the older sons. 5  So Ahaziah son of Jehoram became king of Judah.

2 Chronicles 26:16

Context

26:16 But once he became powerful, his pride destroyed him. 6  He disobeyed 7  the Lord his God. He entered the Lord’s temple to offer incense on the incense altar.

Jehoiakim’s Reign

36:5 Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned for eleven years in Jerusalem. 8  He did evil in the sight of 9  the Lord his God.

Context
36:14 All the leaders of the priests and people became more unfaithful and committed the same horrible sins practiced by the nations. 10  They defiled the Lord’s temple which he had consecrated in Jerusalem.
