2 Chronicles 19:3-4

19:3 Nevertheless you have done some good things;¹ you removed² the Asherah poles from the land and you were determined to follow the Lord.”³

Jehoshaphat Appoints Judges

19:4 Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem.⁴ He went out among the people from Beer Sheba to the hill country of Ephraim and encouraged them to follow⁵ the Lord God of their ancestors.⁶
