17:7 In the third year of his reign he sent his officials Ben-Hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel, and Micaiah to teach in the cities of Judah.

21:2 His brothers, Jehoshaphat’s sons, were Azariah, Jechiel, Zechariah, Azariahu, Michael, and Shephatiah. All of these were sons of King Jehoshaphat of Israel. 1 

2 Chronicles 26:5

26:5 He followed 2  God during the lifetime of 3  Zechariah, who taught him how to honor God. As long as he followed 4  the Lord, God caused him to succeed. 5 

1 sn A number of times in 2 Chronicles “Israel” is used instead of the more specific “Judah”; see 2 Chr 12:6; 23:2). In the interest of consistency some translations (e.g., NAB, NRSV) substitute “Judah” for “Israel” here.

2 tn Heb “sought.”

3 tn Heb “in the days of.”

4 tn Heb “in the days of his seeking.”

5 tn Or “prosper.”
