2 Chronicles 12:12

12:12 So when Rehoboam¹ humbled himself, the Lord relented from his anger and did not annihilate him;² Judah experienced some good things.³

Context
29:10 Now I intend⁴ to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel, so that he may relent from his raging anger.⁵

¹tn Heb “he”; the referent (Rehoboam) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

²tn Heb “the anger of the Lord turned from him and did not destroy completely.”

³tn Heb “and also in Judah there were good things.”

⁴tn Heb “now it is with my heart.”

⁵tn Heb “so that the rage of his anger might turn from us.” The jussive with vav (ו) conjunctive indicates purpose/result after the preceding statement of intention.

similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
