The Lord Gives Solomon Wisdom

1:1 Solomon son of David solidified his royal authority,¹ for² the Lord his God was with him and magnified him greatly.

2 Chronicles 17:5

Context
17:5 The Lord made his kingdom secure;³ all Judah brought tribute to Jehoshaphat, and he became very wealthy and greatly respected.⁴

¹tn Heb “and Solomon son of David strengthened himself over his kingdom.”

²tn The disjunctive clause (note the vav [ו] + subject pattern) probably has a causal nuance here.

³tn Heb “established the kingdom in his hand.”

⁴tn Heb “and he had wealth and honor in abundance.”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
