1 Thessalonians 2:8-9

Context
2:8 with such affection for you¹ we were happy² to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us. 2:9 For you recall, brothers and sisters,³ our toil and drudgery: By working night and day so as not to impose a burden on any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.

¹tn Grk “longing for you in this way.”

²tn Or “we are happy.” This verb may be past or present tense, but the context favors the past.

³tn Grk “brothers.” See note on the phrase “brothers and sisters” in 1:4.

start	search for verses that contains words that start with the search words	"fis" will search for verses that contains words start with "fis", the result will be "fish", "fishing", "fisherman", etc
similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
