Samuel Meets with Saul

9:1 There was a Benjaminite man named Kish son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Becorath, the son of Aphiah of Benjamin. He was a prominent person.

1 Samuel 9:21

9:21 Saul replied, “Am I not a Benjaminite, from the smallest of Israel’s tribes, and is not my family clan the smallest of all the tribes of Benjamin? Why do you speak to me in this way?”

13:15 Then Samuel set out and went up from Gilgal 1  to Gibeah in the territory of Benjamin. 2  Saul mustered the army that remained with him; there were about six hundred men.

14:16 Saul’s watchmen at Gibeah in the territory of Benjamin 3  looked on 4  as the crowd of soldiers seemed to melt away first in one direction and then in another. 5
