4:20 As she was dying, the women who were there with her said, “Don’t be afraid! You have given birth to a son!” But she did not reply or pay any attention. 1 

1 Samuel 15:22

Context

15:22 Then Samuel said,

“Does the Lord take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices

as much as he does in obedience? 2 

Certainly, 3  obedience 4  is better than sacrifice;

paying attention is better than 5  the fat of rams.

1 Samuel 25:25

Context
25:25 My lord should not pay attention to this wicked man Nabal. He simply lives up to his name! His name means ‘fool,’ and he is indeed foolish! 6  But I, your servant, did not see the servants my lord sent. 7
