1 Samuel 19:3

Context
19:3 I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where you are. I will speak about you to my father. When I find out what the problem is, 1  I will let you know.”

4 tc The translation follows many medieval Hebrew mss in reading בָּאנוּ (banu, “we have come”) rather than the MT’s בָּנוּ (banu, “we have built”).

6 tn Heb “whatever your hand will find.”

7 tn Heb “after.”

8 tn Heb “an owner of a ritual pit.” See the note at v. 3.
